1) Crete Siege Battle
l  Sign-up Procedure:
At XX:00, the system will send a notification bubble to all online players who are ranked 2nd Lieutenant or higher to notify that the Crete Siege Battle is about to begin.
Between XX:00 and XX:05, players can click the notification bubble, then select “OK” to participate in the battle, or “Cancel” if they do not want to participate.
At XX:05, sign-ups are closed and the system will split all players into two factions based on their total sea and land battlefield points, in accordance to cross-server battlefield rules.
Attacking Faction: [Alliance]
Defending Faction: [Pirate]

l  Battle Procedure:
XX:00 The portal to the high seas in Cyprus will disappear
XX:05 The factions are sorted and all players will be teleported to:
[Alliance] - Athens Port
[Pirate] - (New) Crete City
Players must not be holding or have any goods in their cabin to be teleported. If the teleportation fails, the player will be considered to have given up.
XX:05 - XX:10 This is preparation time for all players. During this time, players from the [Alliance] faction cannot enter (New) Crete City and (New) Crete Offshores. Players from the [Pirate] faction cannot leave (New) Crete City and (New) Crete Offshores as well.
20:10 The portal to the high seas in Cyprus will reappear
20:10 Portals will appear in the high seas to respectively allow [Alliance] and [Pirate] players to teleport to (New) Crete Offshores.

20:10 Portals will appear in (New) Crete Offshores to respectively allow [Alliance] and [Pirate] players to go the the high seas or city.

Only players participating in the Crete Siege Battle will be able to use the portals mentioned above.

(New) Crete City image: (Dotted lines show the recommended route)

When the battle begins, special facilities will appear at (New) Crete City and (New) Crete Offshores.

[Fuster Island Supply Point] at (New) Crete Offshores:

This facility has a total of 4,000 Resource Points.
It will start with only half the Resource Points.
After the facility appears, Resource Points will not decrease. [Alliance] players have to transport resources produced in the Athens Suburbs and deliver them near the Fuster Island Supply Point for it to gain more Resource Points.

When the facility has more than 3,000 Resource Points, a portal will appear near the facility to transport [Alliance] players to (New) Crete City.
When the facility has less than 3,000 Resource Points, the above portal will disappear.
When the facility has 4,000 Resource Points, delivering more resources will not have any effects.

[Cochran Tower Flag] in (New) Crete City:

This facility has a total of 4,000 Resource Points.
It will start with only half the Resource Points.
This facility can be attacked by [Alliance] players. It will lose 1 Resource Point every time it is attacked.
[Pirate] players have to transport resources produced in Cyprus Island and deliver them near the Cochran Tower Flag for it to gain more Resource Points.
The [Pirate] faction wins if the facility has 4,000 Resource Points.
The [Alliance] faction wins if the facility has 0 Resource Points.

Resource Settings:
The Athens Suburbs and Cyprus Island will each have three resource mines.
Resource mines in each area will only produce resources for their faction. Players from a faction cannot gather resources from the other faction’s resource mines.
Each resource mine weighs 1000.
As each resource is heavy, they’ll be added to your cabin once they are collected. (The cabin can be used in Athens Suburbs and Cyprus Island during the battle.)
If a player with the resource is killed, the resource item is guaranteed to drop (It will have the Guardian Spell effect).
There is a Resource Exchange Officer at each resource mine. Players can exchange enemy resources for their own resources at a rate of 2:1.
Delivering each resource will grant 1 Resource Point.

Victory Conditions:
The [Pirate] faction wins if the special facility in (New) Crete City has 4,000 Resource Points.
The [Alliance] faction wins if the special facility in (New) Crete City has 0 Resource Points.
The [Pirate] faction also wins if the battle lasts for over 60 minutes.

Battlefield Settings:
After all players are split into their respective factions, Crete Siege Battle marks will appear above each player to indicate which faction they belong to.
[Alliance]: Red Military Officer Mark
[Pirate]: Blue Pirate Mark
Players with Crete Siege Battle marks will not get red names for killing each other. This applies to all scenes where PK is allowed.
Players with no marks (except for those with guild status) will always get red names for attacking players with marks regardless of the situation (except for in Athens Suburbs, Cyprus Island, Sea and Land Battlefields, New Crete City, and New Crete City Offshores).
Players with Crete Siege Battle marks will always get red names for attacking players with no marks regardless of the situation (except for in Athens Suburbs, Cyprus Island, Sea and Land Battlefields, New Crete City, and New Crete City Offshores).
Players from the same faction can’t attack each other.
Players from different factions can’t form a party; players with Crete Siege Battle marks can’t form a party with players without the mark.
During the Crete Siege Battle, [Alliance] players will revive at Athens Port and [Pirate] players will revive at (New) Crete City. Free ship repair and a priest will be available at Athens Port and (New) Crete City during the Crete Siege Battle.

You could always use some extra help, especially in intense battles! Even a powerful pirate chief or a high ranking official of the royal fleet will have someone capable by their side. As long as you have the ability and faith, and are willing to work hard, you can hire them as your assistant.

I) General Grades
1. Generals have three grades: Common, Superior, and Legendary. Legendary Generals can put on more equipment and have better skills.
2. Generals can have a maximum of five equipment slots and one skill.
3. In most cases, Common Generals can equip 1~3 pieces of equipment, Superior Generals can equip 3~4 pieces of equipment, and Legendary Generals can equip 4~5 pieces of equipment.

II) Recruiting Generals
1. Recruiting from Taverns
Most Generals recruited directly from taverns are Common Generals.
Players can go to the Recruitment Envoys in taverns in Seville, Barcelona, Lisbon, and London to recruit Generals once their Military Rank is 8 and above.
The list of Generals in the taverns change three times a day, respectively at 10:30, 15:30, and 19:30.

2. Complete Legendary General Quests
Your Rank must be 2nd Lieutenant or higher to get a Legendary General Quest Card.
You will usually recruit a Legendary General who can use 4~5 pieces of equipment from this quest.
The quest plot will mainly cover the backstory of the featured General.
As long as you’ve completed the series of quests for a General once, you’ll get the General straight away if you get another quest card of the same General.

The Legendary General Quest Card drops from:
Battled Forest Boss
Golden Tower Bosses from Floors 65~70 (Includes Boss on Floor 65)
Portobello Bay 3rd Boss
Some high level high seas bosses: Henry Ivelli’s Fantasy Ship, Savage Henry Morgan’s Flagship, Bloodblade Nibeto Bonito’s Flagship, Wansaofen’s Cracking Lighter Aboard Ship, Laboos’ Eagle Ship, and Tippi Tipoo’s Flagship.

III) General Interface

IV) General Growth
1. Training Generals
Drag Generals from the list into one of the three slots at the top to train or equip them.
Generals have 4 attributes: Attack, Defense, Sailor Damage, and Sailor Defense. These attributes can be improved through Training.
The attributes can improve or become worse after training. Simply tap Save after you get a satisfactory result to apply the attribute change to the General.

2. Upgrading Generals
Every time you train your Generals, they’ll gain some EXP. You can upgrade your General when it has gained enough EXP.
For your Generals to equip additional pieces of equipment, they have to reach certain level requirements.
Generals with higher levels have a higher training limit for the attributes Attack, Defense, Sailor Damage, and Sailor Defense.

3. Passing on General Attributes
Transferring General Attributes to another General is free of charge.
After the transfer is done, the General on the left will be destroyed.
Only the General’s level and attributes can be transferred. The General’s skill and number of equipment slots cannot be transferred.

Less levels and attributes will be lost during the transfer if the General has been trained for a shorter amount of time.

4. General Equipment
Your General’s level have to meet requirements to put on additional equipment, up to a maximum of five pieces of equipment.
You can obtain equipment from the “General Equipment and Material Exchange Officer” at the Seville Port.
General Equipment can be rebuilt. You can preview the effects of rebuilding and save when you are satisfied.
You’ll need Modification Stones to rebuild General Equipment. They can be collected from the Fleet Captain interface (Ctrl+W).
When a Primary General Equipment is rebuilt with two purple attributes, or when an Intermediate General Equipment is rebuilt with one orange, one purple, and one green or better attributes, you can upgrade it by speaking to the General Equipment Enhancement Master.

Equip 1 piece of equipment to increase Primary Skill Lv by 1
Equip 3 pieces of equipment to increase Intermediate Skill Lv by 1
Equip 5 pieces of equipment to increase Advanced Skill Lv by 1

Summary: If you recruit a General with a better skill and more equipment slots, you can transfer part of the old General’s attributes and levels onto the new General.
